Hasegawa 1/72 A6m5c Zero Fighter 52 Zeke Model Kit

The Mitsubishi A6M5c Type 52 Hei was the final major production variant of the Zero, featuring additional armament including a 13.2mm Type 3 heavy machine gun in each wing and provisions for a single 250kg bomb or rockets. The "Hei" (C) sub-variant represented the ultimate attempt to make the Zero competitive against the latest Allied fighters like the F6F Hellcat and P-51 Mustang. Additional armor and self-sealing fuel tanks added weight, sacrificing the agility that made earlier Zeros famous. Hasegawa captures the heavily armed late-war Zero with its expanded weapons fit.
