What do the grades (HG, RG, MG, PG, EG) mean?

Entry Grade (EG): simple snap-fit, perfect for beginners. High Grade (HG): 1/144 scale, great detail for the price. Real Grade (RG): 1/144 with an inner frame, more advanced. Master Grade (MG): 1/100 scale with detailed inner frame engineering. Perfect Grade (PG): 1/60 scale, the premium flagship tier.

Do I need tools to build a model kit?

Basic kits only need side cutters (nippers) to remove parts from the runner. For cleaner results, a hobby knife and sanding sticks help. No glue or paint is required for snap-fit kits — they come molded in color.

Are model kits pre-painted?

Most kits come molded in color and look great straight out of the box. Stickers or waterslide decals are included for markings and details. Painting is completely optional for those who want custom finishes.

What's a good first kit for beginners?

Entry Grade or High Grade kits are perfect for beginners. They're affordable, snap together without glue, and produce impressive results. We recommend the EG RX-78-2 or any HG from the Witch from Mercury line.

Can I order multiple parts at once?

Yes! Add as many quoted items to your cart as you need. Each part can have different materials and settings.

How do I track my order?

After placing an order, visit the Orders page from the navigation menu. You'll see real-time status updates as your order moves through printing, QC, and shipping.

Can I cancel or modify my order?

Orders can be cancelled before printing has started. Once printing begins, modifications are not possible. Contact us as soon as possible if you need changes.

What materials do you offer?

We currently offer FDM filaments: PLA, PETG, ASA, and TPU. Each material comes in multiple colors. SLA resin printing (standard, tough, flexible, castable) is coming soon.

Which material should I choose?

PLA is great for visual models and prototypes. PETG for parts needing heat or chemical resistance. ASA for outdoor use. TPU for flexible parts.

Can I print in multiple colors?

Yes! Our Bambu Lab printers support up to 4 colors per print via the AMS system. Note that multi-color prints include a 15-40% material overhead for purge waste.

What are the shipping options?

Production (printing, inspection, and packing) typically takes 3-5 business days. After that, we ship via your chosen method: Standard (5-7 business days transit), Priority (3-5 days), or Express (1-2 days). 3D print orders over $25 ship free. AG Hangar members also get free shipping on every order.

How is pricing calculated?

Price is based on material usage (weight), print time, quality tier multiplier, and quantity. Setup fees apply for small orders but are waived above $25. There is a $15 minimum for orders containing 3D prints (your entire cart total counts toward this minimum). You see a full breakdown before checkout.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes. 6-10 units: 10% off, 11-25 units: 15% off, 26-50 units: 20% off, 51-100 units: 25% off, 101-250 units: 28% off, 251+ units: 30% off. Discounts apply automatically.

Are there rush options?

Yes. Expedited (1.5x) and Rush (1.75x) production options are available at checkout. Rush orders are prioritized in our print queue to shorten the production window.

What file formats do you accept?

.STL and .3MF files up to 100MB. We recommend .3MF as it preserves color and material assignments. .gcode files are not accepted for security reasons.

What are the minimum wall thickness requirements?

FDM: 1.2mm minimum (2 perimeters). Thinner walls may print but are fragile and prone to failure.

What tolerances can I expect?

FDM draft: ±0.3mm. Standard: ±0.2mm. Fine: ±0.15mm. Ultra-Fine: ±0.1mm. These are general guidelines — geometry and orientation affect results.

My model has errors — can you still print it?

Accepted Answer

Our system analyzes your file for issues like non-manifold edges and inverted normals. Minor issues are often auto-repaired. For significant problems, we'll let you know before printing.
