Everything you need to know about buying and selling on the Bounty Board.
The Bounty Board is a peer-to-peer marketplace for model kit parts and hobby supplies. Buyers post requests (“bounties”) for specific parts, runners, or complete kits from any manufacturer. Sellers respond with offers. All transactions are facilitated through the platform with payment escrow for buyer protection. The marketplace is currently available to buyers and sellers within the United States only.
Before posting a bounty, check if Bandai's official replacement program can help. Their program covers missing or defective parts from in-production kits.
The Bounty Board is ideal for everything Bandai won't cover: discontinued kits, self-damaged parts, upgrade sprues, parts from third-party manufacturers, or kits outside the replacement window.
Selling a genuine part you own — a spare runner, a piece from a kit you bought — is the Board's core use case and is unaffected by anything here. The rules below apply only when you 3D-print the part yourself. The distinction is who manufactured it, not where the design came from.
