Hasegawa 1/72 Kawanishi E7k1 9 1 Model Kit

The Kawanishi E7K1 Type 94 (Allied codename "Alf") was a biplane reconnaissance floatplane used by the Imperial Japanese Navy from the mid-1930s through WWII. Catapult-launched from cruisers and battleships, the E7K performed reconnaissance, gunfire spotting, and anti-submarine patrol duties. Despite being obsolete by 1941, the E7K1 continued serving in secondary theaters throughout the war due to the lack of replacement aircraft. Its two large floats and biplane configuration made it instantly recognizable. Hasegawa captures this rarely modeled IJN floatplane with float struts, catapult cradle, and period-correct markings.
