Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Italian Carro Armato M13/40, the most important Italian medium tank of WWII. Armed with a 47mm gun and powered by a diesel engine, the M13/40 saw extensive action in North Africa alongside Rommel's Afrika Korps. While outclassed by British and American armor, Italian tankers fought bravely in these machines at El Alamein and throughout the desert campaign. Over 800 were produced.
