Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Infantry Tank Mk.II Matilda (Mk.III/IV). The "Queen of the Desert" earned her title in 1940-41 when her heavy armor proved immune to Italian and early German anti-tank weapons in North Africa. Armed with the QF 2-pounder, she was slow but confident in defense. Also served with Australian forces in the Pacific.
