Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Japanese Type 3 Medium Tank Chi-Nu. Japan's most capable medium tank of WWII, the Chi-Nu mounted the high-velocity 75mm Type 3 gun in a new turret on the improved Chi-He hull. Developed in response to the growing threat of American M4 Shermans, it was kept in Japan for the anticipated homeland defense and never saw combat overseas. Approximately 166 were produced between 1944-1945.
