Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Panther Ausf.A, the second production variant that addressed many of the Ausf.D's mechanical issues. The Ausf.A introduced the new commander's cupola with periscopes, improved ball-mounted hull machine gun, and enhanced reliability. The Panther's 75mm KwK 42 L/70 gun could penetrate any Allied tank at combat range, while its sloped 80mm frontal armor provided excellent protection. Approximately 2,000 Ausf.A were built.
