This dual kit pairs the Brewster B-239 Buffalo with the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6, recreating the unlikely alliance of Finnish and German fighters defending Finland during WWII. The B-239 was the export version of the F2A Buffalo that proved disastrous in Allied service but became Finland's top-scoring fighter type, with Finnish aces achieving remarkable kill ratios against Soviet aircraft. Paired with the Bf 109G-6 "Gustav" supplied by Germany, these two fighters formed the backbone of Finland's wartime air defense. Hasegawa captures both aircraft in Finnish Air Force markings.
