Tamiya 1/700 Waterline Series model of the IJN Agano light cruiser. Lead ship of the last class of light cruisers built for the Imperial Japanese Navy, the Agano-class was designed as a destroyer flotilla leader with six 152mm guns and eight 610mm torpedo tubes. Agano was sunk by the submarine USS Skate near Truk in February 1944 during operations to reinforce the Marshall Islands.
