Tamiya 1/700 Waterline Series model of the IJN Taiho, Japan's most advanced aircraft carrier of WWII. Featuring an armored flight deck—a first for Japanese carriers inspired by British designs—Taiho was designed to withstand bomb hits that had devastated earlier carriers at Midway.
