Tamiya 1/700 Waterline Series model of the IJN Abukuma, a Nagara-class light cruiser that served as flagship of the 1st Torpedo Squadron. Abukuma participated in the attack on Pearl Harbor as part of the screening force. At the Battle of Surigao Strait during Leyte Gulf, she was hit by a PT boat torpedo and later finished off by B-24 bombers—one of the last acts of the final battleship-on-battleship engagement in history.
