Hasegawa 1/350 Ijn Destroyer Yukikaze Model Kit

The IJN Yukikaze was the luckiest ship in the Imperial Japanese Navy, surviving the entire Pacific War despite participating in nearly every major naval engagement. As a Kagero-class destroyer, she fought at Midway, the Solomon Islands, the Philippine Sea, Leyte Gulf, and the final sortie with the battleship Yamato—emerging unscathed each time while sister ships were sunk around her. Armed with six 127mm guns and eight 610mm torpedo tubes with Type 93 Long Lance torpedoes, the Yukikaze was surrendered intact in 1945 and later served in the Republic of China Navy. Hasegawa's 1/350 scale captures this legendary survivor.
