Tamiya 1/48 scale model of the Tiger I (Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf.E), the most famous tank of WWII. Its 88mm KwK 36 L/56 gun could destroy any Allied tank at over 2,000 meters, while 100mm frontal armor made it nearly impervious to most Allied weapons until 1944. Despite mechanical complexity limiting production to 1,347 units, the Tiger's psychological impact far exceeded its numbers. Tank ace Michael Wittmann's Villers-Bocage action cemented its legend.
