Tamiya 1/48 scale model of the Jagdpanther (Sd.Kfz. 173) in late production configuration. Mounting the devastating 88mm PaK 43 L/71 gun on the Panther chassis, the Jagdpanther was arguably the finest tank destroyer of WWII—combining excellent firepower, well-sloped armor, and good mobility. Late production featured a simplified one-piece gun mantlet and revised engine deck. Only 415 were built between 1944-1945.
