Tamiya 1/48 Bf-109e-3 Messerschmitt Model Kit

The Messerschmitt Bf 109E-3 "Emil" was the Luftwaffe's premier fighter during the campaigns in Poland, France, and the Battle of Britain. Armed with two wing-mounted 20mm MG FF cannons and two cowl-mounted 7.92mm MG 17s, the E-3 was the most common Emil variant. Its fuel-injected DB 601 engine gave it an advantage in negative-G maneuvers over carbureted Merlin-powered opponents. Tamiya's 1/48 kit features the detailed DB 601 engine and authentic cockpit.
