Tamiya 1/35 US Sheridan Tank M551 Nam Model Kit

The M551 Sheridan was a controversial light tank designed for air-deployable armor support, armed with the unique 152mm gun/launcher system capable of firing both conventional rounds and the MGM-51 Shillelagh missile. Deployed to Vietnam from 1969, the Sheridan's aluminum armor was vulnerable to mines and RPGs, but its 152mm canister round was devastating in jungle ambushes. Despite its flaws, it remained the only air-droppable tank through the 1991 Gulf War. Tamiya's 1/35 kit includes Vietnam-era stowage and markings.
