Tamiya 1/35 French Light Tank R35 Model Kit

The Renault R35 was France's most numerous tank in 1940, with over 1,600 in service during the Fall of France. This small infantry tank featured cast armor construction and a one-man turret armed with the short 37mm SA18 gun — already obsolete by 1940 standards. Despite brave resistance, the R35's slow speed, weak armament, and one-man turret handicap contributed to the French defeat. Captured R35s were repurposed by Germany for occupation duties.
