Tamiya 1/35 German SD Kfz 2 Kettenkraftrad Mid Model Kit

The Kettenkraftrad was Germany's ingenious half-tracked motorcycle, combining a motorcycle front end with a miniature tracked body. Originally designed for the Fallschirmjäger (airborne troops) as an air-droppable tractor, it found widespread use towing supply trailers, laying telephone wire, and as a runway tractor for the Luftwaffe. The mid-production variant featured simplified manufacturing details. Over 8,300 were built. Tamiya's 1/35 kit features the Opel Olympia engine, motorcycle fork, and detailed track assembly.
