Hasegawa 1/12 Yamaha Yzr500 1988 Japan Race Champ Model Kit

The 1988 Yamaha YZR500 was the factory Grand Prix racer that competed in the All Japan Road Race Championship, the premier motorcycle racing series in Japan. Powered by Yamaha's V4 two-stroke engine producing approximately 150 horsepower, the YZR500 featured Yamaha's YPVS (Yamaha Power Valve System) and deltabox aluminum frame.
