Hasegawa 1/12 Honda Nsr500 Elf Honda 1989 Model Kit

The Elf Honda NSR500 was a unique 1989 Grand Prix motorcycle featuring the experimental Elf chassis designed by French engineer André de Cortanze. The Elf project used hub-center steering and a carbon fiber monocoque chassis instead of conventional forks and steel tubes, mounted around Honda's proven NSR500 V4 two-stroke engine. Ridden by Ron Haslam, the Elf Honda was a rolling laboratory that explored alternative motorcycle chassis concepts. While never a championship contender, the Elf project pushed the boundaries of motorcycle design. Hasegawa captures the radical chassis architecture and futuristic bodywork of this engineering experiment.
