Hasegawa 1/72 MU-2A Mitsubishi J S D Model Kit

The Mitsubishi MU-2A was a Japanese-designed twin-turboprop utility aircraft that served with the Japan Self-Defense Forces in liaison, transport, and search-and-rescue roles. Designed by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in the early 1960s, the MU-2 was one of Japan's first post-war indigenous aircraft designs and became a commercial success, with over 700 built including many exported to the United States. The MU-2A featured a high wing with tip tanks, retractable landing gear, and could operate from short, unprepared runways. Hasegawa captures this important Japanese aircraft design with JSDF military markings.
