Italeri 1/72 M3 75mm Half Track Model Kit

The M3 Gun Motor Carriage mounted a 75mm M1897A4 gun on the M3 half-track chassis, providing American tank destroyer battalions with their first mobile anti-tank platform. It saw extensive action in North Africa at Kasserine Pass and El Guettar before being superseded by purpose-built tank destroyers. The open-topped fighting compartment left crews exposed but provided excellent visibility and fast target acquisition. Italeri's 1/72 kit captures this important early-war American tank destroyer.
