Italeri 1/72 SD Kfz 251 1 Stuka Zu Fuss Model Kit

The Sd.Kfz.251/1 "Stuka zu Fuß" ("Stuka on Foot") was a devastating rocket launcher variant, mounting six 280mm or 320mm Wurfrahmen rocket frames on the sides of the standard half-track. Named after the Stuka dive bomber for its similar area-effect destruction, it fired its entire salvo in seconds, devastating enemy positions with high-explosive or incendiary warheads. First used at Stalingrad, it remained in service through war's end. Italeri's 1/72 kit includes the distinctive side-mounted rocket frames.
