Tamiya 1/48 Nakajima Hayate Frank Model Kit

The Nakajima Ki-84 Hayate (Gale) was Japan's best overall fighter, competitive with the P-51D and P-47N in speed, climb, and firepower. Two 20mm Ho-5 cannons and two 12.7mm machine guns provided devastating armament, while armor plate and self-sealing fuel tanks — rare in Japanese fighters — improved survivability. Over 3,500 were built from 1944. Allied codename "Frank." Tamiya's 1/48 kit features the Homare 45 radial engine and detailed cockpit with armor plate.
