Tamiya 1/48 A6m5c Zero 52 Model Kit

The A6M5c Model 52 Hei was the last major production Zero variant, adding a 13.2mm Type 3 heavy machine gun to each wing root alongside the standard 20mm cannons for increased firepower against heavily armored American aircraft. Some were fitted with underwing rocket rails for anti-bomber intercepts. By 1945, the Model 52c was outclassed by F6F-5s and F4U-4s but remained Japan's most numerous fighter. Tamiya's 1/48 kit includes the additional armament and late-war marking options.
