Italeri 1/48 A-18G E Growler Model Kit

The Boeing EA-18G Growler is the US Navy's dedicated electronic warfare aircraft, replacing the venerable EA-6B Prowler. Built on the two-seat F/A-18F Super Hornet airframe, the Growler carries the AN/ALQ-99 tactical jamming system in underwing pods and wingtip AN/ALQ-218 receiver pods, capable of detecting, locating, and suppressing enemy radar and communications across the electromagnetic spectrum. Unlike the Prowler, the Growler retains full air-to-air capability with AIM-120 AMRAAMs. This 1/48 Italeri kit features the distinctive jamming pods, receiver wingtips, and VAQ squadron markings.
