Italeri 1/48 FJ-2 North American 3 Fury Model Kit

The North American FJ-2/3 Fury was the US Navy's carrier-adapted version of the legendary F-86 Sabre, modified with folding wings, arrester hook, and catapult attachment points. While the FJ-2 was essentially a navalised F-86E with the same J47 engine, the FJ-3 received the more powerful Wright J65 (Sapphire) engine that significantly improved performance. Marine squadrons operated Furies from both carriers and land bases during the 1950s. This 1/48 Italeri kit captures both variants with US Navy and Marine Corps markings.
