Tamiya 1/35 US Tank Destroyer M10 Model Kit

The M10 Wolverine was America's first purpose-built tank destroyer, mounting the 3-inch M7 gun in an open-topped turret on a modified M4A2 Sherman chassis. Over 6,700 were produced, forming the backbone of US Tank Destroyer battalions from North Africa through Normandy and into Germany. The open turret traded crew protection for 360-degree visibility and rapid target acquisition. British M10s were later re-armed as the 17-pounder Achilles. Tamiya's 1/35 kit features the distinctive pentagonal turret and counterweight.
