Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Soviet JS-2 (IS-2) Model 1944 heavy tank. Named after Joseph Stalin, the JS-2 carried a devastating 122mm D-25T gun capable of destroying any German armor at combat range. The Model 1944 variant features the improved cast turret and straightened glacis plate. Spearheaded Soviet breakthrough operations in the final push to Berlin, where JS-2 battalions led the assault on the German capital.
