Italeri 1/35 Panzerjager I Model Kit

The Panzerjäger I was Germany's first purpose-built tank destroyer, mounting a captured Czech 47mm Pak(t) anti-tank gun on the obsolete Panzer I Ausf.B chassis. Rushed into service for the 1940 French campaign, it gave infantry divisions their first mobile anti-tank capability. Though improvised, it established the tank destroyer concept that would evolve into vehicles like the Marder and Jagdpanther. Italeri's 1/35 kit captures the open-topped fighting compartment and the distinctive gun shield.
