Tamiya 1/35 KV-2 Russian Heavy Tank Model Kit

The KV-2 was one of WWII's most distinctive tanks, mounting an enormous 152mm M-10 howitzer in a towering slab-sided turret on the KV-1 chassis. Designed for bunker-busting during the Winter War with Finland, the 52-ton KV-2 could level fortifications with a single shot but was top-heavy, slow, and mechanically unreliable. During Barbarossa, KV-2s caused panic among German troops who had nothing that could penetrate them, but most were lost to breakdowns and fuel shortages. Tamiya's 1/35 kit features the iconic massive turret.
