The M1 Super Sherman was Israel's upgraded M4A1 Sherman, re-armed with the French CN-75-50 75mm high-velocity gun and fitted with a new HVSS suspension and Continental diesel engine. These up-gunned Shermans formed the backbone of the IDF Armored Corps through the 1956 Sinai Campaign and 1967 Six-Day War, proving lethal against Egyptian and Jordanian armor. Tamiya's 1/35 kit features the distinctive long-barreled turret, cast hull, and IDF markings.
