Italeri F100f Supersabre USAF Fghtr 72 Model Kit

The North American F-100F Super Sabre is the two-seat variant of the USAF's first operational supersonic fighter. The F-100F served as both a trainer and, critically, as a "Wild Weasel" SEAD aircraft in Vietnam — the first aircraft specifically equipped to locate and destroy enemy surface-to-air missile sites. Wild Weasel F-100Fs flew some of the most dangerous missions of the war, deliberately drawing SAM fire to locate radar installations. This 1/72 scale Italeri kit captures this historic combat aircraft.
