The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-25RBT Foxbat was the reconnaissance-bomber variant of the Soviet Union's legendary Mach 3-capable interceptor. The RBT model featured upgraded reconnaissance systems and the ability to carry bombs, combining the Foxbat's incredible speed and altitude performance with a strike capability. The MiG-25 was designed to counter the XB-70 Valkyrie bomber and SR-71 Blackbird, featuring welded nickel-steel construction capable of withstanding the extreme heat generated at speeds exceeding Mach 2.8. Hasegawa captures the massive twin-engine, twin-tail design with its distinctive wedge-shaped intakes.
