Italeri 1/72 F-51D Mustang Korea Model Kit

The F-51D Mustang (redesignated from P-51D in 1948) was recalled from Reserve and Air National Guard units to serve in the Korean War, where it excelled as a close air support platform. Armed with six .50-caliber machine guns, rockets, and napalm, Mustangs flew dangerous low-altitude missions supporting ground troops against North Korean and Chinese forces.
