Italeri 1/48 UH-5 Wessex Helicopter Model Kit

The Westland Wessex was a British license-built development of the Sikorsky S-58, re-engined with turboshaft powerplants in place of the original radial piston engine. The UH-5 served the Royal Navy in commando assault and anti-submarine roles, seeing combat during the Falklands War in 1982 where Wessex helicopters provided vital troop transport, casualty evacuation, and utility support in harsh South Atlantic conditions.
