Tamiya 1/48 Avro Lancaster B MK I III Model Kit

The Avro Lancaster was RAF Bomber Command's premier heavy bomber, carrying the heaviest bomb loads of any WWII bomber including the 22,000-pound Grand Slam. Lancasters flew over 156,000 sorties, attacking industrial targets, V-weapon sites, and famously breaching the Ruhr dams with Barnes Wallis's bouncing bombs. The B Mk.I (Merlin) and B Mk.III (Packard Merlin) were the primary production variants. Tamiya's 1/48 kit is a massive undertaking with detailed bomb bay, turrets, and four Merlin engines.
