Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the M48A3 Patton, the diesel-powered variant that saw extensive combat in Vietnam. Armed with the 90mm M41 gun and powered by a Continental AVDS-1790-2A diesel engine that replaced the gasoline engine of earlier variants, the M48A3 served as the US Marine Corps' primary tank during the Vietnam War. Also widely used by ARVN forces and exported to numerous US allies.
