Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the M42 Duster self-propelled anti-aircraft gun. Armed with twin 40mm Bofors autocannons on the M41 Walker Bulldog chassis, the M42 was designed for Cold War air defense but found its greatest use in Vietnam as a devastating ground support weapon. The twin 40mm guns could shred jungle vegetation and bunkers, earning the M42 a fearsome reputation among both US troops and their adversaries.
