Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the M26 Armored Tank Recovery Vehicle, designed to recover disabled tanks under fire. Based on the M26 Pershing heavy tank chassis but with the turret replaced by a heavy-duty A-frame crane and winch system capable of lifting turrets and pulling bogged vehicles. The M26 ARV could recover any Allied tank in the field, making it an essential but rarely modeled support vehicle.
