Tamiya 1/48 U S Howitzer Motor Carriage M8 Model Kit

Tamiya 1/48 scale model of the M8 Howitzer Motor Carriage (HMC), a 75mm howitzer mounted in an open-topped turret on the M5 Stuart light tank chassis. Designed to provide close fire support for armored cavalry reconnaissance units, the M8 could fire HE, smoke, and chemical rounds. Over 1,700 were built, serving from North Africa through the end of the war. Later widely exported and saw extensive post-war service.
