Tamiya 1/48 scale model of the M4A1 Sherman, the first production variant with its distinctive cast hull providing a rounded, organic appearance. Powered by the Continental R-975 radial engine and armed with the 75mm M3 gun. The cast hull was simpler to produce than welded versions and offered slightly better ballistic protection due to its curved surfaces. Served from North Africa through Normandy and into Germany.
