Hasegawa 1/48 Nakajima C6n1 Carrier Recon Saiun Model Kit

The Nakajima C6N1 Saiun (Painted Cloud, Allied codename "Myrt") was the IJN's fastest carrier-based reconnaissance aircraft, designed specifically for fleet reconnaissance at extreme range and speed. The C6N1's slim fuselage, laminar-flow wing, and Nakajima Homare engine gave it performance that made it virtually uncatchable by Allied fighters when it appeared in 1944. Its three-seat crew conducted the photo reconnaissance that preceded major IJN operations. This 1/48 scale Hasegawa kit captures one of the Pacific War's most elegant aircraft designs.
