Italeri 1/48 Hurricane MK II C Model Kit

The Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIC was the cannon-armed evolution of the Battle of Britain veteran, replacing the eight rifle-caliber machine guns with four 20mm Hispano cannons that packed devastating punch against ground targets, shipping, and armored vehicles. By 1942-43, the Hurricane had been superseded as a dogfighter by the Spitfire and Typhoon, but the Mk.IIC found new purpose as a ground attack "Hurribomber" carrying bombs and rockets in North Africa, Burma, and the Mediterranean. This 1/48 Italeri kit features the four-cannon wings, bomb racks, and tropical filter markings.
