The M4A3E8 "Easy Eight" Sherman was the workhorse of U.S. armored forces during the Korean War, its 76mm high-velocity gun and HVSS suspension proving well-suited to the Korean terrain. These Shermans fought at the Pusan Perimeter, the Inchon breakout, and the advance to the Yalu River, engaging North Korean T-34/85s in some of the last major tank-versus-tank battles involving Shermans.
