Italeri 1/35 M-24 Chaffee Korean War Model Kit

The M24 Chaffee light tank was among the first American armor committed to Korea in 1950, rushed from occupation duty in Japan to face the North Korean onslaught. Though outgunned by T-34/85s with its 75mm gun, the Chaffee's light weight allowed it to cross Korea's many bridges and rice paddies where heavier tanks could not follow. It served throughout the war in reconnaissance and infantry support roles. Italeri's 1/35 kit features the compact turret and lightweight hull of this agile reconnaissance tank.
