Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Sd.Kfz. 222 light armored car with photo-etched turret screen and detail parts. This compact 4x4 reconnaissance vehicle carried a 20mm KwK 30 autocannon and MG34 coaxial machine gun behind a distinctive open-topped turret fitted with wire mesh anti-grenade screens. The PE parts replicate these screens with far more realism than plastic. Served in all theaters from Poland through the war's end.
