Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the Jagdpanzer 38(t) Hetzer mid-production variant. This compact tank destroyer mounted the 75mm PaK 39 gun in a well-sloped superstructure on the Czech Pz.38(t) chassis. At just 10.5 tons, the Hetzer offered excellent protection for its weight through clever armor angling. Over 2,800 were produced from 1944, becoming one of Germany's most effective and economical late-war tank destroyers.
