Tamiya 1/35 scale model of the 3.7cm PaK 35/36 anti-tank gun with crew. Germany's standard anti-tank gun at the war's start, the PaK 35/36 proved adequate against Polish and French tanks but was hopelessly outclassed by Soviet T-34 and KV-1 armor, earning the nickname "Heeresanklopfgerät" (army door-knocker). Despite its obsolescence, it remained in service as an infantry support weapon throughout the war.
